Hey, I’m Matt and my journey in this crazy world of weddings started with my own big day back in 2019. Let’s be honest, my wife planned the day and I just had to make the vision work to the budget. However, one thing we didn’t budget for, or think we needed on the day, was a videographer and we couldn’t have been more wrong. On the week of my wedding, my dad got taken ill and was in intensive care, so missed it. Fortunately, a friend took a small video on the day on her phone and it even had messages at the end to my dad who could rewatch it whilst in hospital. Sadly, my dad passed away a month after my wedding and despite him not being in it, that video is something that I clung to and rewatched more than I ever thought I would. I vowed then to use my skills to make sure other people didn’t make the same mistake I made.
